Today we headed back to base camp....specifically the main eco-camp lodge, where we started.

We left Camp Frances and made our way 10 miles in 7 hours, arriving at eco-camp with plenty of daylight hours to spare, but not enough for yoga!!

Along the way, we saw many of the familiar terrain, including a huge field of mother-in-law bushes, which I took a bunch of pictures of.

Again, lots of lakes of different hues. More suspension bridges. I took silly selfies of me eating lunch, to show what it's like.

When we arrived by eco-camp, I didn't realize there was another lodge, down the hill from it.

Up at eco-camp, we got to relax. I had access to my backpack and all my belongs. I also had the chance to take a shower in the main eco-lodge, which were fancier than other places. And I washed my hair for the first time in over a week and used hair conditioner!

Outside the eco-camp, was a nice lounge area. We all got to relax, put our feet up and they served us horderves. I tried a couple of specialty drinks, including a local gin infused with hot peppers! We also played more Jenga!

And it was someone's birthday...so we celebrated with cake.

Oh, it was also New Years Eve. There was going to be a celebration, but we were all so tired and I headed back to the campsite. I heard the next day, that no one stayed up late either.
